The lovely Ingrid Michaelson is getting a lot of well deserved exposure these days! She performed The Way I Am (iTunes link) on Last Call with Carson Daly (does anyone else feel old seeing him in a suit like that?)

The Way I Am was also used in an Old Navy commercial (Maybe I just haven’t watched TV in a while, but Old Navy commercials seem to have grown up too).

I first found the Carson Daly clip on Allie Moss’ MySpace blog. Allie sings the beautiful harmonies and plays guitar in Ingrid’s band. She’s also a talented songwriter herself, as you can see from this little home video where she performed for a friend at 2am at the end of a day on tour. It’s a new song called I Will Go Anywhere.

According to Allie’s MySpace page, she’s working on her first album that will be called Passerby. I’m looking forward to it!
