<p>Back when <span style="font-style:italic;">Resident Evil 3</span> came out a couple months ago, one of my co-workers was trying to recruit people to go see it. He promised zombies and potential partial Milla Jovovich nudity. While I still sometimes wish I could have Milla&#8217;s hair from <span style="font-style:italic;">The 5th Element</span>, and for some reason I like the whole zombie game on Facebook, I&#8217;m not much of a fan of big screen zombies. I told him that I would gladly go to the same theater with him and watch <span style="font-style:italic;">The Nanny Diaries</span> or something, and then we could both tell each other about how much we liked our separate movies on the way home. He didn&#8217;t take me up on it, but all the talk led to another of my co-workers bringing in Milla&#8217;s album from 1994 &#8211; <span style="font-style:italic;">The Divine Comedy</span>.</p>
<p>I had no idea she could sing! Written at 15 and released when she was 18, <span style="font-style:italic;">The Divine Comedy</span> is lush, lyrical and a touch other worldly. A bit folky, a bit pop/dance at times, it&#8217;s fascinating and surprising and fun. Names Milla is compared to musically include Kate Bush, Sarah McLachlin, Tori Amos, and Joni Mitchell. While people are fond of saying something is &#8220;unlike anything you&#8217;ve ever heard before&#8221;, <span style="font-style:italic;">The Divine Comedy</span> really IS unlike anything I&#8217;ve heard before! Rather than continue trying to describe it, have a look at this video for the song <span style="font-style:italic;">The Gentleman Who Fell</span> and you&#8217;ll get the idea:</p>
<p><object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lVyEw-Befhk&#038;rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lVyEw-Befhk&#038;rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object><br /><span style="font-style:italic;">Feed and email readers may need to come to the blog to see the video.</span></p>
<p>Milla is a woman of many talents, and while she is probably best known for her <a href="http://www.millaj.com/film/index.shtml">acting</a> and <a href="http://www.millaj.com/model/index.shtml">modeling</a>, she also has a <a href="http://www.jovovich-hawk.com/">fashion line</a> and continues to <a href="http://www.millaj.com/music/tdc.shtml">make music</a>. She has <a href="http://www.millaj.com/music/demos.shtml">a page on her website of demo songs</a> that she welcomes her fans to download and remix as long as they don&#8217;t sell them.</p>
<p>To top it all off, she just had a baby! What a life! Now I&#8217;m wishing I had more than her <a href="http://images.google.com.co/images?gbv=2&#038;svnum=10&#038;hl=es&#038;client=firefox-a&#038;channel=s&#038;rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&#038;q=5th+Element+Milla&#038;btnG=B%C3%BAsqueda+de+im%C3%A1genes">5th Element hairstyle</a>&#8230; And I&#8217;m still not going to the zombie movie, but I&#8217;ll listen if you want to tell me all about it. <img src='http://lyricalvenus.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>You can download <span style="font-style:italic;">The Divine Comedy</span> on <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/stat?id=ridWt*e0h6k&#038;offerid=137439&#038;type=3&#038;subid=0&#038;tmpid=1826&#038;RD_PARM1=http%253A%252F%252Fphobos.apple.com%252FWebObjects%252FMZStore.woa%252Fwa%252FviewAlbum%253Fi%253D637509%2526id%253D637535%2526s%253D143441%2526partnerId%253D30">iTunes</a><br />or buy the album or download DRM-free tracks on <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&#038;keywords=The%20Divine%20Comedy%20Milla%20Jovovich&#038;tag=lyrivenu-20&#038;index=blended&#038;linkCode=ur2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325">Amazon</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=lyrivenu-20&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /></p>
